2021 Season – Huntington Beach vs. Aliso Niguel Recap

The Oilers lost 28-20 to Aliso Niguel to start the season 0-1. Sunset Rewind tells you how it went down. The Oilers led 14-nothing into the fourth quarter but they ended up losing the game 28-20. The HB defense pitched a shutout through three quarters until the wheels came off. This is a tough loss for Brett Brown and the HB team who were missing some key players that were banged up at multiple positions. Hideo Ray, one of the biggest parts of their offense and defense, was out with a leg injury. So look for him to make a big impact in next week’s game… but if you’re missing a guy who you expect to get 9 or 10 catches a game, you’re going to miss some offensive production.
